YMCA OF SOUTHERN NEVADA
Since 1944, the YMCA of Southern Nevada has provided children, adults, seniors and families of all backgrounds and economic levels with recreational programs designed to develop a healthy spirit, mind and body. The YMCA currently serves more than 20,000 people a year and opens programs to all interested participants regardless of their ability to pay.
The Andre Agassi Foundation supported the YMCA’s “Building A Stronger Tomorrow” campaign to renovate the YMCA’s 23-year-old Heinrich facility in 2005. Changes included an electrical system upgrade, the remodeling of the wellness center and gymnasium, and the construction of a new playground and outdoor aquatic center. Together, our goal is for these efforts to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
