As founder and sole proprietor of Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts, LLC, Ty Warner focuses on acquiring, enhancing and elevating premier properties worldwide. The current portfolio includes the Four Seasons Hotel New York and other properties. In 1986, Warner established Ty, Inc., now the world leader in plush collectibles thanks to Beanie Babies® and other creations.
Warner is known for his charitable commitments, such as the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. He recently funded the building of the Ty Warner Sea Center in Santa Barbara, a marine and science educational facility. He also supports the American and International Red Crosses, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House, among many other causes.
