Mark Mastrov is the founder and chairman of 24 Hour Fitness Worldwide Inc., the world's largest privately held fitness company, serving more than 3
million members in the U.S. and Asia. Mastrov is considered a visionary for introducing 24-hour access, month-to-month memberships, electronic fund transfers and other innovations in the fitness industry.

A native of Oakland, Mastrov began his business modestly after graduating from California State University at Hayward with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Since founding his company in 1983 with a single facility, Mastrov has built a fitness empire of nearly 400 clubs located in 16 U.S. states and four Asian countries. He and his wife, Mindee, have three children.
