BOYS HOPE / GIRLS HOPE

Boys Hope / Girls Hope provides a safe, family-like environment and college preparatory opportunities for underprivileged children ages 9 to 14 whose parents or guardians are no longer capable of providing care or supervision. Many residents from homes marked by drug abuse, poverty or neglect, while others come from caring families unable to meet their child’s needs due to extenuating circumstances.

Children are chosen based on academic ability, leadership qualities and emotional and behavioral stability. They live in the home with a full-time staff of loving individuals. Donations to the home go toward tuition expenses, food, clothing, medical and dental costs, fees for counseling and tutoring, recreational costs, everyday expenses and college scholarships.
