Marsha Garces Williams produced the Golden Globe and People’s Choice Award winning "Mrs. Doubtfire" (1992), "Patch Adams" (1998), "Jakob the Liar" (1998), and the HBO special "Robin Williams: Live on Broadway" (2002), which sold more than one million DVDs and videos, and earned a Grammy Award for best comedy album.

Today, she is most keenly engaged with her art collection and philanthropic efforts. Williams focuses on children's issues, education, health, environmental conservation, and the arts. She is also an active Seacology board member. Seacology is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the environments and cultures of islands throughout the world. Williams lives in San Francisco when she isn't exploring some of the world's most remote locations or recreating with her three adult children.
